In a few words

The snow scooter can be practiced alone or with one or two dogs. You don't need a trained dog such as a Husky to do this activity. Your good Bernese Mountain Dog or your Labrador can easily tow you so you two can enjoy hours of fun.

The Park has developed a network of trails with a shelter-fireplace to take a break or have a picnic. Snow scooter rental is available upon reservation at the Sainte-Lucie-de-Beauregard reception office.

From January to March.

For Real!

The snow scooter is a perfect opportunity to share a moment of complicity with your dog(s)! Assak, Bella, and I are one during our outings, like a real team!

Active Nature Sugar Loaf Mountain or Talon Lake

In the fall, during the season of colors, when you come hiking in the Parc des Appalaches, the show begins as soon as you drive. The roads are adorned with such warm colors that we are already in the mood even before starting our hike.

Active Nature Canoeing through Parc des Appalaches

Discovering the Parc des Appalaches from a completely different angle is possible by doing a canoeing excursion on the Rivière Noire Nord-Ouest. Follow Gérard and Roxanne through this adventure, accompanied by their husky Jack!

Active Nature Women travelers from Quebec and the discovery of Chaudière-Appalaches with their dog

Active Nature A full season in a refuge at Parc des Appalaches!

The experience of life in a refuge, many do it for a weekend, a few days, and we decided to live it for a season, that is this winter! During these few months, the refuge des Pins located in the Parc des Appalaches has become our home. A time to get rid of the superfluous, to get together and experience a life in the heart of nature.

Active Nature 3 days of self-guided hiking in the Parc des Appalaches

This summer, my boyfriend and I bought our first house. An extra light three-seater tent! Enough to carry everywhere, on our back for example! We also bought a mattress, sleeping bag, cooking gear, and dehydrated food. One challenge now, get it all to fit in a backpack. One thing is for sure we are now ready for a long-distance hike!

En vedette A wintry weekend in Chaudière-Appalaches with The Storytellers MTL

While the city energizes us, nature stimulates our inspiration and allows us to recharge our batteries. This is why we often feel the need to land there and venture there. So we jumped at the chance to discover the Chaudière-Appalaches under its white coat, for a rejuvenating stay in the middle of the mountains. Here are some of our favorites for a winter getaway weekend in the Montmagny sector.

Active Nature - En vedette Les Voyageuses du Québec and the pleasures of winter in the Parc des Appalaches

Every time I go to the Parc des Appalaches, I always come back relaxed and satisfied to have been able to practice my favorite winter sports in such a majestic environment. During my last visit as part of a collaboration with the web magazine Les voyageuses du Québec, I had so many good times in cross-country skiing and fatbike, that I almost forgot the -30 degrees I felt. . Almost !

Active Nature - En vedette The Parc des Appalaches, from one mountain to another!

Active Nature - En vedette Unparalleled complicity by snowscooting!

We don't know you, but since childhood we have often dreamed of putting ourselves in the shoes of a musher ... And then three dogs including two huskies have entered our lives. We moved to Quebec. And this winter, we spend the white season in a cabin in the middle of the famous Parc des Appalaches. In short, all the conditions are present to practice snowscooting almost daily ... What a dream!
